What? There's more? Five years later? Yes, it's true - Bowerman produced a follow-up to the already accomplished title, The Well-Fed Writer. When I purchased the first book, I waited ever so impatiently for another title to be released. It wasn't that there wasn't enough valuable content in the first book, but rather that I wanted a continuation of that valuable content to absorb, use and recommend to others. It's almost like the continuation of an already good story -- you're satisfied with what you've read so far, but would love it if there was just a little more.

That's what Bowerman has provided in Back for Seconds. He dives deeper into some of the topics covered in his first book, offers new solutions to new questions that may (or may not) have come up when building your business and offers more opportunities to take advantage of that you may have otherwise overlooked without his instruction.

As I've mentioned in another review, his first book has remained poised on my list of recommended reading. Has his new book edged out the first? No, not at all. It's a perfect accompanyment, as far as I'm concerned. You can't have the perfect sandwich without the bread, now can you?
