I bought it for my 8 year old daughter she loved the book. She read it every
night till she finished it. Then she shared it with her best friend who is also
into American Girl Dolls, as i understand from her mother this 8 year old also enjoys the book and her mother is now looking to purchase one for her little girl.

American Girl Book teaches History to a New GenerationReview created: 01/06/09

World War II is a distant and often times, not understood, unfortunate era of time by this current generation. My granddaughter turned 8 years old and received her first American Girl doll. Molly is from the WWII era and this book, done more as a scrapbook, is a wonderful presentation of what was going on during that period of time in a child's life. As my granddaughter gets older, then she can read other books and learn more about the Nazi's and the horrors that followed.
