My family and myself are just getting started with Weight Watchers and we wanted alot of recipes so we wouldn't get bored with this diet. This cook book offered many new tested recipes and so far everything I've cook has been a sucess with my family.
This is one of my favorite WW cookbooks. I bought this because my present copy was falling apart! A couple of favorite recipes in this book are: Curried Chicken with Dried Cranberries, Creamy Chicken and Spinach, Seven Layer Dip, Hearty chicken-Vegetable Soup, and Mushroom-Barley Soup. I think you also would enjoy this recipe book even though it is older it uses the point system and except for a few recipes still is accurate. Enjoy~!
I decided to buy this book to help me come up with healthier food selections for myself and my family. I was diagnosed with a heart condition and told to lose some weight to increase my chances of survival. So much for not being worried that I was a little overweight. Well, I bought the book and the Weight Watchers Dining companion set for 2006 and have lost 7 1/2 pounds in 5 weeks. The doctor was thrilled when I saw him two days ago. The recipes in the book are good and most use things I readily have on hand which makes it easy to use. The only thing I would change is to add the sodium content of each serving for the recipes, as those of us with heart healthy diets have to watch the salt too!
