I had tried the Quick Start Program years ago and it worked for me. I had very little decisions to make because the program gave me menus for weeks and I didn't have to think about what I was going to make. The point system for me is more difficult because I had too many decisions to make. The book came in record time and is in excellent condition.
This is one of my favorite weight loss plans that Weight Watchers used over the past many years. I had lost all of the information and was thrilled to know that there is a book detailing this plan.
I bought this book as a guide to making healthier meals for my family. My husband just had triple bypass surgery and I hope this book will be a guide to meal planning that will benefit us both. Thank you, JoAnn
This is a book my mom had on hand when I was a kid, and since then I've bought my own version. Quick Start was one of WW's programs in the 80s, and this cookbook reflects the nutrition counting system of the time. However, the recipes in it are absolutely delicious--particularly the salads and salad dressings, as well as the main dishes. It's an older book with outdated diet information, but the recipes are good and relatively low-calorie.
