It has great recipes that I can't wait to try after my surgery. There are chapters about how to use your tool correctly for the rest of your life... this book is a MUST HAVE for anyone considering any type of weight loss surgery. You will not be sorry by buying this book. Even if you have done years of research and made up your mind as to which surgery to get, you will still have use for this book. If you are a newbie, and just learning, this is an AWESOME tool that will lead you in the right direction.

I purchased this book for my sister who recently had "Lap Band" Surgery. It was suggested at one of her pre-surgery meetings. She has found the book to be an excellent resource for what to expect and how to handle different issues associated with her surgery. She finds it very helpful!

This book is very informational. It tells you lots of things that you don't even think about. About getting help with the insurance company. Plus, not to accept the first no from the insurance company. Things you will need to take to the hospital. Food receipts, drink ideas and many more facts.

I am currently going through the process of having weight loss surgery. The coordinator of my weight loss program suggested I purchase "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies". I am a registered nurse and truly felt as though this would be a waste of my time and money. However, I was wrong. This book is written in clear, precise language anyone can understand. It answered all my questions and brought my attention to information I had not even thought of at the time.
