Wee Sing - In The Big Rock Candy Mountains (VHS, 1995)

This cute movie has been a part of my daycare VHS collection for about 8 years or so. It is a familiar favorite standby when the kids are tired of watching all the new cartoons.

The characters are very lively and happy, the interaction between the children and the make belief characters is intriguing, and the story line is good.

While the styles are obviously dated, the movie has catchy, well known tunes the kids can relate to and easily sing along and dance with.

This movie probably would not be in the children's top 10 favorites, but they would more than likely enjoy seeing it and singing along more than once or twice.

I first bought this movie for my son at a yard sale when he was three years old and he enjoyed it so much and one day we were looking on e-bay and we saw it and at 14 years old now he remembered all the good times he had as a child watching this tape. So I bought it again for my grandchildren and they love it jut like he did as a child and every now and then I catch my son watching it and enjoying it once again.
