Webster's New Explorer Large Print Dictionary (2006, Hardcover, Large Print)

I purchased this dictionary because the large print is easy to read. It is a new edition with over 40,000 words. Entries include part of speech, pronunciation and alternative spellings. An excellent reference for any writer.

I am so happy to have this dictionary of the English language. The large print has made my life so much easier whenever I need to seek correct spelling and/or definition of a word. My vision = 20/20 most times however my medical conditions sometimes cause blurred vision etc. - When my vision is not sharp I just pick up this book and voila!, I am set to go. This hard cover book has a nice appearance, a list of abbreviations, a pronunciation guide, and more. It does not include foreign words and phrases, populations, mottoes and other information that you can seek elsewhere. The easy to read, sharp, large print in this book is just what I needed and I recommend it to all.

This dictionary has great big bold lettering!It even exceeded my expectation for the size of letters!The worlds are very bold and an easy to find.The binder is very well made in my hard copy edition.I would highly recommend this large print dictionary for its very bold and large easy to see print!

I can't see small print, and I'm not a very good speller this book realy helps both. The price was also good, came three days after I ordered it.

LARGE PRINT :-) They are hard to find and us baby boomers need all the help we can find. lol Hard cover easy to read and look up words.

I like the fact it was in large print. There seems to be a lot of things that are not in the book. Like countries and capitals around the world. My scrabble dictionary has alot more definitions in it, but it is in small print.Overall I`m pleased with it though. Thank you

The large print is what I needed. I may buy others for gifts since I have friends with the sight problem

I Love This Dictionary! I Have Poor EyeSite, And The Webters I had was way too small print, when i recieved this one in the mail, i just cant say enough about how happy i am with the lrg print/hard back/THE PRICE/the convenance oF the intire book, the whole world needs one just like MINE !
