Webkinz are a great way to introduce your child to a computer. The stuffed animal becomes a bestfriend. The website is a secure site and is very user friendly.
My daughter uses the computer at school and I'm very leary of her getting online. I don't mind her going to Webkinz world, it's a secure sight and there alot of games for her to play. It also gives her some responsibility, when it comes to taking care of her "bestfriend". She will remind me that she needs to feed her or play with her. It reminds of the Tomagachi, I played with whe n I was younger- only in color!

i have been collecting webkinz for since 2007 and i must say the pink and white cat is one of the cutest webkinzs i have seen.
