We Are the Laurie Berkner Band [CD & DVD] by Laurie Berkner (CD, Feb-2006, Razor & Tie Music)

We got this from the library and we ALL loved it. My one-year old was dancing and singing to it, as were my 3 and 5 year olds. The songs are catchy and not too annoying for parents, as some kids songs are. (I find myself singing a lot of the songs at random times!) Many of the songs have full-body action to them, so it's a fun bit of exercise on a cold winter day. The video is colorful and not too flashy. Each song features the band in very colorful outfits, surrounded by kids, all singing the songs together.
It's been more than a month since we had to return the DVD to the library, and the kids are still singing those songs and asking to borrow it again. I can't wait until this arrives in the mail!

My son listened to and sang this when he was 3 yrs old. Now at 6 almost 7, he sings the songs to his little sister. Even mom joins in, its such a fun DVD.

You won't go wrong.....

I love this CD. My kids watch this 100000000 times a day!!!! The songs are great, and the messages in the songs and dances seem to stick with my kids for a long time!

My grandson loves this group on Jacks Big Music Show so I decided to purchase this DVD. He adores this DVD! At 14 months old he is intrigued with the music, singing, dancing, and the children. It is awesome!

This is a wonderful dvd and cd to buy if your child loves music. My son has developemental delays and is very into music. He watched the dvd and learned the words and hand motions and now he sings the songs all the time. The great part is that when you leave home you can take the cd to listen to in the car. I would buy more like this!

This is an awesome DVD/CD! My 3 year old son has to watch it over and over again! The songs are great and peppy and keep him entertained and educated!

These are the most terrific songs for children that I have ever heard. They are not just for the little ones, but they charm the adults into singing them all day and even waking up thinking about them. My grandchildren just love to act out the songs and are always asking for me to put them in the Dvd player and listen to them over and over. I will buy each and every one that Laurie Berkner puts out and hope all grandparents will do the same.

Great Movie for kids!!! It is a great DVD for your kids to interact with. The songs are fun. A must for every parent with Toddlers!

Because of the new statistics concerning young overweight children today, I decided to incorporate some sort of movement everyday. My goal was to try to get my class up and moving for 30 minutes every day, but excercising with me becomes quite boring after awhile. I decided to try some music. After playing this DVD for my preschool children, they absolutely loved it!!! It gets them up and moving within minutes of putting on this DVD. Now, they ask to watch it every day!! I am so glad I bought it, and now it is now the favorite and best of all, my goal was fulfilled. You rock, Laurie Berkner!!!!!!!!

WE love the CD. I bought it for my daughter and then bought it for my niece. I would recommend this to any child from ages 1-5. It has great songs that they continue to sing!!!

MY FOUR CHILDREN LOVE THIS DVD AND THE BONUS CD THAT WAS INCLUDED. MY CHILDREN ARE 5, 4, 2 1/2, AND 1 AND ALL LOVE THE MUSIC, DANCING, AND SILLINESS OF LAURIE BERKNER. THEY FIRST SAW HER ON NOGGIN (JACK'S BIG MUSIC SHOW) AND ALWAYS RUN TO THE TV WHEN SHE IS ON. THIS DVD IS NOW AT THE TOP OF THEIR FAVORITES LIST FOR ENTERTAINMENT IN THE CAR!!

Energetic, fun DVD. My 3 1/2 year old son LOVES this DVD and always asks if we can dance to Laurie. Great music to dance and excercise with.

We love her in my house, every song is catchy! Kids love it and dance all around to her! I bought this after seeing her on a cmmercial and the kids were singing her songs just from that few seconds of air time they would catch!

We Are the Laurie Berkner Band DVD was the best product I think that I have purchased for my daugther. This DVD keeps her entertained from start to finish. If your child loves to dance and sing they will love this DVD.

I bought this for my 3-yr old daughter. She would always sing along to the commercial that plays on Nick Jr. So, I decided to buy this CD/DVD. I have played both and my daughter prefers the DVD as opposed to the CD. Both are just adorable! My daughter sings along and dances to the DVD. It was well worth the purchase!

Great CD We use it everyday! My niece is 2 1/2 and first saw Laurie Berkner on Jack's Big Music show. She absolutely loved the songs and found herself singing right along. It is a very inspiring upbeat CD that totally inhances movement, dance and song into a young childs world. Every child should be able to enjoy this CD.

catchy music and video, kids love it as do adults...We first saw her on Noggin, love the songs and her motions throughout the music. a definite buy for all !!

I bought this cd/dvd as i have 2 toddlers age 3 and 1 1/2 and they love it the music is fun and fast enough to encourage dancing and yet they learn new words and actions from the dvd we no longer have the boogie monster at our house we have the monster boogie highly recomend it especially if your kids watch noggin

This is thr greatest kids dvd ever. If you have a preschooler who loves to dance, This is it. The songs are fun energetic and catchy. My son absolutely loves it. We watch it at least 5-6 times a day.

I have a 4 year-old and a one year-old and they both LOVE the Laurie Berkner Band CD and the DVD. The DVD is fun for the whole family. It gives me a great opportunity to interact with my girls because we all get up to sing and dance to the band's upbeat music. I bought the item to entertain the girls on a recent long road trip. Believe me, it didn't disappoint! I only wish the CD had more songs on it because we have listened to it so many times and it repeats pretty quickly. However, no matter how many times we have heard it, we still enjoy every song.
