Streisand and Redford - need one say anything more?
The most unforgettable scene. Streisand character sees Redford asleep sitting at bar during WWII. She had crush on him in college. She goes over and gently sweeps his bangs from his forehead. At the end of the film, she does thing - years later.
Shocking at the time - a good Jewish girl gets naked and crawls into bed with a deeply sleeping very goyish guy - it's the superlative story of a mismatched couple falling in love.
