Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman (2006, Paperback)

This book is a quick, easy read that reminds one of the important things in life. It's not what you have, not who you know, not where you live, etc. Happiness is inside of you. It's a mix of philosophy, humor and life lessons as taught to a young college student by an all night gas station attendent he names Socrates. It's a good journey. It reminds you to take care of your body, have a certain discipline in your routine, and to seek higher morals to become a Peaceful Warrior. It was a trip! I recommend. I am passing it around to my family members in hopes it will inspire them as it did me.

"Peaceful Warrior" is deep, yet a very easy read. Once I started reading this book, I had difficulty putting it down. This book explores success in a light not found in most personal development books and in a way that might have you rethinking exactly what a successful life truly means. If I finish a book and think about it weeks after putting it down, I count that as a great book. "Peaceful Warrior" is one such book. My husband, my 19-year-old son and a friend all read this book on my prompting. "Wow" as a word that all three said when reading it. "The Way of a Peaceful Warrior", along with three other personal development books, was recommended to me by my business coach. Of the four recommended book, "Peaceful Warrior" was the one that most impacted me.

Even the title sounds glorious. This book was received in great condition, in a very timely manner and I look forward to the reading. I've heard good reviews and look forward to expanding my mind.

What an unbelieveable book. Great story, inspiring, uplifting. Read the book, watch the movie. . . it's worth it. Other than "The Secret", this is the only other material that has compeltely changed my life. Thank you Dan Millman!
