This book was an easy read and quite informative. We're in the process of adopting some African American children. This took some of the fear away of caring for their hair.

Need More Teaching InfoI like that the book gave you a breakdown of different types of african american hair. The book also gives you ideas of what tools and products to use. I thought the book would go into more details to teach you how to do different hairstyles for kids and show more pictures of hairstyles. I bought this bbok so I could get Ideas on how to comb my daughter's hair and learn diffrent techniques.
