Waterfowl of Eastern North America by Chris G. Earley

This is a great book for either a waterfowl hunter or bird watcher. Not a pocket guide, but small enough to take along where ever you go. The pictures are all full color and show great detail of both male and female birds of all species covered. While the book doesn't go into page after page of scientific material, it gives easy to read range maps, good notes on seasonal color changes, helpful hints on how to distinguish from birds that look similar, and general notes of interest on each species. As soon as I recieved my copy I ordered another to give to my son, who is also interested in waterfowl.
