Jumpy, edge of your seat kind of movie

When I was a kid I used to watch this movie for a good scare. Disney did an awesome job at making a supernatural experience turn extremely scarey! I really miss good acting with the likes of Bette Davis. She is very eerie in this movie. Every time she comes on screen you just know that something bad is about to happen.
The ironic thing is she doesn't have any evil intentions. She's only looking out for Jan and Ellie.
This movie is definitely one that will keep you jumping. I'd love to see a remake of this movie in the future.
A definite must have for the halloween DVD collection.

This movie was great!
) I am a grandmother of 5 and mother of 5. My children saw this movie when they were young and I wanted my grandchildren to be able to see it. My granddaughter who lives with me has already watched it twice. I would recomend it to anyone.

Watcher In the Woods - DVDI love this movie becuase it's a "ghosty" scary one as opposed to blood and guts. It's one that I can watch with my six year old, but I still can't watch by myself. A good scary movie for the whole family to enjoy!

I like this movie because it was one of the first Disney movies I saw when I was younger. Also, it's not very well known and was a treasure to find. After watching this movie mirrors really freaked me out, watch it and see what you think.

The Original Scary MovieThe Watcher in the Woods was the first truly spooky, scary movie I had ever seen when I was a kid. Now I'm a teacher and have shown it to my students around Halloween, and I love the fact that, even though it's old, my 6th grade city kids (who think they are sooo tough), jump in their seats and can't wait to see what happens next. It's one of those timeless movies that anyone can enjoy. I still love it and get creeped out even though I know what's coming!

I wanted to share this movie with my children because i really enjoyed it as a child. I have looked everywhere for this movie and because disney does not release a movie except for on special occations i never could get ahold of it so i tried ebay and found it right away and in a dvd form so my kids would enjoy it and it was just as good as i remember it.

) This was Betty Davis's final film and what a way to go out. Davis is extraodinary and creepy as the caretaker owner of a mansion that she rents out. The mysterys that surround the life of Davis and her daughter are intermingaled with a family living the house. It maybe old but still one of the scariest movies out there. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. And the extras are great, make sure to watch the alternate endings!!!
