Wastewater Engineering by Franklin L. Burton, George Tchobanoglous, H. David Stensel, Inc Metcalf & Eddy (2002, Hardcover, Subsequent Edition)

I bought this book because this is a required textbook in my class. I think it is useful. But there is one thing I do not like. When I solve the problems in it, it needs lots of assumptions. Sometimes it makes me exhausted.

The seller mentioned that the product is in new condition but did not mention it's an international edition, i could have gotten it much cheaper than what I paid for international edition. Also, the few pages of the index were torn off because of loose binding.

If you are picky on physical book quality, inquire about the place where the book was printed. My text was printed in New Delhi, and the paper is very thin and the print is low quality. I paid a cheap price and received a lower quality product.

I loved the price of the book and I received it in great time! The only thing is that it said it was new and the book I received was in good condition for sure, I just would not have said it was new.

This is a cheap book, but that is what I was looking for. No complaints here! If you are looking for quality, I would go with something different.

The book is in good quality and delivered within three weeks. If you would like to use it as testbook, should order couples of week early.
It is a good hand-book for environmental engineering students and the prize is quite reasonable compared to bookstore prize. It's a big save.

It's one of the best sources of information for the wastewater professionals. It's a must to have book for this field of work.

The shipping cost is relatively expensive, it makes a big chunk of the final price in the end.

Exact same material as the 'American' version. The paper quality is not as good, so you have to be careful not to tear off the pages. I noticed it seems to be a bit 'thicker' than the American version (this might be due to the different paper), but not by much. The back of the cover came unglued in mine.

I paid about $55 dls total, still better than the approx. $200 it's sold at my university for.

Buying the international version saves a lot of money. The original is about $200, but you get what you pay for. This book is very poor quality, text and pictures are legible, but don't expect the book to last for very long.

Recommendation:

students; save your money, buy this (don't spend more than $50). It'll last the semester and is good enough.
For professionals trying to build a library; Get the real copy, don't waste your time with this one.

This book is great buy for its price. Although the quality of book cannot be compare with the US edition, but the content and its hardcover binding are exactly the same as the US edition. Therefore I strongly recomend this item for any student that will be taking this course or interested in this topic of this study.
