I read this book years ago and already owned it. I bought this copy to give to a history major in college. If you're tired of revisionist history, this is a must read! Sweeney makes World War II real and actually makes you understand why the USA had to drop the bomb. This is the best true story of World War II that I have ever read. Buy it, read it and then pass it to your children. The truth is slowly disappearing.
