This first entry from Avenged Sevenfold (or A7X), is awesome, and powerful.
Although it only contains 4 tracks, it also includes a music video, which I believe should be included more often on all CD's!

The songs on Warmness on the soul aren't as tight, or practiced as those on Waking the fallen, or as technical or savvy as those on City of Evil, but it does certainly find it's place in the collection of any real A7X fan!

Avenged Sevenfold - Warmness On The Soul
Review created: 04/08/08

Track:
1. Warmness On The Soul (Single Version)
2. Darkness Surrounding
3. We Come Out At Night
4. To End The Rapture (Heavy Metal Version)
*Enhanced CD with video for "Warmness on the Soul"

Warmness on the Soul is an EP from Avenged Sevenfold. It was released on August 8, 2001 by Good Life Recordings. The CD has the video for, "Warmness on the Soul" as an Enhanced CD bonus. The video has all the band members in it and also includes Valary DiBenedetto. This is the first CD to feature new guitarist Synyster Gaytes (after this EP he decided Synyster Gates was better, also on this album it's Shadows, not M. Shadows, which also was changed after this album) and the first album to feature the heavy metal version of "To End The Rapture". All these songs can be found on their CD Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. The album is great from the first to last song, screaming, singing, piano's, guitars, drums, bass - everything - perfect!

I am a big gan of A7X, and I was not a fan of this CD. It is definatly not A7X style. The first track, is actully SINGING, not thier usual stuff, and the rest is hard to get into. It is definatly thier worst CD.
