Warm Springs and FDR

I don't want to repeat what others have said so I will keep it short. An excellent movie. I work at Roosevelt's Little WHite House and was able to watch the filming some.
We read the script, to make sure all was as close as possible to being accurate, since we (the staff) are biased.
Margaret Nagle did a fine job.
The movie covers the years 1924 - 1928 with some flash backs to 1918 (Lucy) and 1921 (when he got polio)
FDR came to Warm Springs in'24 and for the next for years, experienced rural American life at the onset of the Great Depression. He spent 2/3 of his fortune on a run down resort, created the nations first treatment center for polio and built a place to live. The film ends in 1928 as FDR leaves Warm Springs to re-enter his political career as Gov of NY, just before the Great Depression officially occurs.
It would not be until 1932 that FDR would build his Little White House and hopefully Nagle will write another sequel to the movie.
You can find a new copy of the DVD on ebay for as low as 3 bucks and some for couple more with free shipping.
It is worth watching at least once just to see the story of how our only 4 time elected president came to be. And how he overcame his fears to tell us that the only thing we had to fear was fear.
