War of the Robots (VHS, 1987)

Story: An alien civilization facing eminent extinction kidnaps two famous genetic scientists from Earth. A troop of soldiers is dispatched to combat the humanoid robots and rescue the unfortunate victims. This Italian production sprung up in the wake of STAR WARS and has since garnered a cult following.

When you watch this, you think alot about the old 1960's Star Trek series.
I DO believe that the 1960's Star Trek was way better made then this movie.

When they try to fly through space it looks like some freak Super-Man is flying lol, doesn't look good.

The laserswords they have they are in my opinion BETTER made though then the ones used in Star Wars for example, they are glowing SWORDS litterly.

The laser guns they use look more pistol-like, and the ones from Star Trek for example, those just look TOO futuristic.

The Costumes the actors & actresses have are HOT, SUPERHOT!

Especially the females. Tight Spandex or Tight Leather, really gives them shape.
Whether or not this is accurately for the future i don't know, but the moviemakers had to draw a crowd to see movie, and the clothes are definately a turn-on.

The Story sucks a bit, 2 humans run a race of robots, they are in war with each other, then alot off shooting and then movie ends.

If your into OLD ( and i do mean REAL OLD ) Science-Fiction 1960's and older then this is a good movie for you.

Otherwise i wouldn't recommended this movie to any-one sadly.
I fell 4 times asleep while watching this.
