I wanted to read this before renting the DVD to see the film.
The major reason to rent the film for me is because of the trailer for the film that featured Angelina Jolie leaning out shooting...
Ok, so it's not a great reason to want to see a film on DVD, I'll grant you that!
The book itself is one that is full of vulgar language, and all kinds of acts that could happen if super villains actually took over a world.
I found the language to be rather numbing, that is, when I kept reading the compilation of comics that were compiled into this book... I found the storyline one that kept me reading!
So although this book is one that a young kid should never read, I found that the storyline and the art were able to keep my interest.
Enough to where I am actually giving this book a 'good' rating. Just be careful to whom you recommend it to due to the foul language and specific scenes in the book....

this book will probably be better than the movie!!
) This is a very good book. I really enjoyed reading it. It answers the question "What would happen if the villains actually won?"
