I Wanna Make My Own Clothes by Clea Hantman (2006, Paperback)

I bought this book for my 12 year old, who has never sewn in her life. Originally, I checked it out at the library (where I work( for myself, but she found it and decided she wanted to try making clothes from T-shirts herslef. She ended up making a sewing bag (which she designed all on her own, which totally shocked me!), stocking it with supplies, and making oodles of cool t-shirts to wear for the summer. A BIG hit with pre-teens, and I would imagine, bonafide teenagers, too.
