I bought this for my Brother and his family. My teenage children and I watched it with them. My children loved the movie and it made my daughter teary eyed. I have always loved watching The Waltons. I am so pleased that my Teenagers are also able to enjoy the memory of the past with me. My family is very close. We still get together for everyones birthday and have cake, ice cream and chips. There are no presents exchanged. The present we all get is the time that we share with each other. Just like The Waltons, except in a modern day style. Since buying this tape, I have bought at least 8 other movies of the Waltons. This movie is well worth buying and sharing with your whole family, young and old. We need more movies made that the whole family can enjoy.

) I ordered th Walton Thanksgiving story because I wanted a decent movie ,with a moral to share with my family over Thanksgiving. I had seen it years ago but the nieces and nephews had never heard of the Waltons. Without any 'R' rated situations or language the entire room of people,from age 8 to 80,watched this movie and enjoyed it.A story of a family during the Great Depression,fighting obstacles that every family faces,yet bound by love.I highly recommend this movie.This will become a tradition in our home!
