The Waltons - The Complete Fourth Season (DVD, 2007)

This is an amazing set of DVD's. It takes me back in time to an era that was during the Great Depression, yet this amazing family finds a way to be carefree, loving, and to raise their children in the Lord. I really enjoy this set of DVD's and I encourage anyome to buy them. You won't be disappointed.

I seldom missed an episode of the Waltons until college and my work schedule got too hectic to keep up. I seldom got to see the show from season 4 to the end. Now I'll get to experience it as new. I dearly loved this series about a warm loving family and their struggles during the Great Depression. It gives me some idea of what things were like for my grandparents and parents as they were growing up during this era. Maybe it's just a sign that I'm getting older now myself, but looking back at how self-sufficient they had to be, it concerns me that this generation wouldn't have any idea how to survive like they did.

From an entertainment perspective, of course it's a matter of taste. There is much to be learned about life and family values in The Waltons. For me, it's much like a warm soothing blanket to cuddle up in.

I BUY ALL WALTONS DVD SETS, THE 1-4 SEASONS HAVE SOME REAL GOOD SHOWS, BUT 5-9 SEASONS IS REALLY THE MOST EXCITING AND HAS THE MOST AWESOME SHOWS OF ALL THE WALTON SERIES EPIOSDES.

The seller advertised the 1st season-"the walton on cd." One cd was missing which they slickly decieved you by not tellin you the cd was missing but said 4 cd set. So it wasn't the first season. (The first season has 5 cd's)It was the last 4 cd's not including the first cd. I didn't know how many cd's were included in the first season. I thought I was getting the first season. The seller also taped over the first cd so you'd miss it when first looking at the set. I missed and gave this seller great reviews. My wife caught the tape job covering up the first cd not being included.
I wrote the seller telling her I thought she was deseptive. She told me that she had found the 1st cd and would ship it to me for a cost of $5.00. I thought she was a crook

This dvd was an great product, excellent pricing, and a perfect mothers day gift. The delivery was quick.

I just love this program, it was and still a great program to watch, can't wait to watch them again. Its a shame they can't make more programs today like this show, my kids watch it and now my grandson watches it also.

i purchased the series so my children can watch good clean shows at home. the shows that have good moral values and good lessons for life.

I love these movies. It reminds me of a time when I was at home and we would all sit around the tv on Thursday night and watch the Waltons together. It was family time. We need more of that today. The wholesome shows that once aired aren't there anymore and we wonder why our country has gone to pieces. More family movies and more family time.

The DVDs are in excellent condition. They came promptly and packaging was appropriate. I love the Walton programs. They are wholesome and filled with memories.

Excellent writing, directing and filming. This show takes you back to the greatest generation, the great depression and through ww2 through the eyes of a young man watching his family and community deal with life's ups and downs. Great period show.

Wish there were more like this...Tv these days could take a lesson from the Waltons, Little House, Father Murphy, etc. Its all crap compared to these shows.

I purchased this item four weeks ago and have not received it, so how I like it is kind of hard to tell. This seller has a habit of this and because he is a big seller I see no effect by Ebay to fix the problem with this seller. I see little effort to resolve the problem from the seller and none from Ebay.

This seller sells a lot of items but 60 plus negs in one month seems alot. A large number are people who never receive the item or get it after a long delay. I understand this is suppose to be about the product but you ask and this is what you get..................................

I bought this as a christmas persent for my mother. This series is one of her favareite show's. I would highley recamond this as a excellent show to watch. I would recamond this to anybody that is thinking about buying this series.
