Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Vol. 2 1942 - 1946 (DVD, 2005)

I have been looking for the Donald Duck collection that contained my sons favorite cartoon--the snowball fight with his nephews. Now I have it and can enjoy it with them (ages 21 and 29!!!!) and hopefully one day with grandchildren. Thank you for providing this item to me. We will enjoy it for years to come. Thanks.

I love Donald Duck. I find his special brand of humor always puts a smile on my face. And the Chronological Donald Vol. 2 is perfect for any Donald fan. The indrouductions by Lenord Malton are insughtful and give me valuable information on what was behind the motivation of the cartoons. Overall, a great purchase worthy for any Disney fan, old and young alike.

Excellent old vintage cartoons for the collector or the person who has a Grandson who really likes Donald Duck!

This is everything a completist could wish for.
I am very happy that Disney even included the not-so-politically-correct (for today's standards) cartoons.
The bonus material is great!
The tribute to the great Carl Barks was very appropriate.
The interview with Tony Anselmo (modern day Donald voice) was a mine iof informations. And the inclusion of A DAY IN THE LIFE OF DONALD DUCK from the old Disney TV shows is what makes these sets live up to the name "Disney Treasures".
Plus! tons of Donald cartoons from the golden age of animation!
This was my first Disney Treasure set, and I am hooked! I will get more for sure!

I love these cartoons! Many are quite simply a hoot, or should I say a quack? These belong in any serious duck fan's collection.

As a collector I like the tins, these came without tins. Strike one. I saved $5 over the retail so expected some degradation. But the DVD's are from Asia with Asian subtitles that can not be turned off for the intros. Strike two. Due to crummy packaging the plastic DVD case was also cracked. Strike Three, I will not deal with this reseller again and think twice before buying DVD's on eBay.

I bought this to go along with Volumes 1 and 3, which I easily found in stores. For some reason though, Vol. 2 was tougher to track down. The content and quality of the DVDs are phenomenal. I really enjoyed all the war-time cartoons, especially the one making fun of Hitler and the Nazis, it's hilarious.

The only complaint I have, is that when you buy these over the internet, the tins always end up completely dented during shipping - but what can you expect in a bubble wrap envelope. I don't personally care about the tins that much, but if someone is seriously collecting them, just be advised that they will most likely come all messed up. Otherwise, this is a great set of classic Disney cartoons that should be a part of everyone's collection.

I don't know how E-Bay let this seller stay on line so long? The seller was selling DVD from Asia and explaining it by say it may come from a different country, YA RIGHT.
He's gone and I'm stuck with a DVD from Asia.

I'm a big Donald Duck fan I've loved Donald all my life so for me it felt natural to buy The Chronological Donald Vol. 1 followed by this title. And when The Chronological Donald Vol. 3 gets avilable I'll buy that one too. It's Donald Duck what isn't there to like. If you like Donald Duck then I can recommend to buy it buy also Vol 1 and 3
