Walking Tall (DVD, 2003)

I have to confess that aside from being a big Joe Don Baker fan (he's a fellow Texan).......that I met Buford Pusser at a Sheriff's Conference in TN. I was very interested in his story. I saw the movie when it was first released & later started looking for a copy on DVD. I think it's the best of all the Walking Tall Series & am very pleased to have found a copy. Aside from all of that, I think it depicts the corruption in many towns across the country & in most places nothing is ever done about it. Buford Pusser was a special kind of person who believed in equality & justice for all & wasn't afraid to stand up for what he believed. Too bad he is gone & there are so few like him around today. Anyone who isn't familiar with his story should see the movie & realize that it is a true story of a brave man.

My family was very disappointed in not getting the movie. We waited and waited then got an email from pay pal saying I was credited. We were looking forward to this movie and not communication from selling on what happened.

I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO GET THIS MOVIE FOR A LONG TIME BUT ESPECIALLY AFTER THE NEW ONE CAME OUT WITH THE ROCK. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE IT JUST WASNT THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL. I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS ONE. I ENJOYED GETTING REACQUAINTED WITH IT WITH MY GRANDSON. WE ALSO ENJOYED GOING OVER THE DIFFERANCES BETWEEN THE TWO VERSIONS. IT WAS A GOOD BUY.

I bought this movies about a month ago and I am very pleased with it. I had not seen the original walking tall movies and it was definitely a great one to buy. I would gladly recommend this movie to someone who may not have seen it. Personally I think it is better than the remake except that the rock is not in it!

I was trying to buy the original Walking Tall movie for my husbands birthday. I still do not know why I was refunded my money and did not receive the movie. If I had been told they did not have the movie or something besides just giving me my money back I would have been satisfied. This movie has been hard for me to find so if I find it again I will get it.

this is much better than the remake more reality to my generation lots of action old fashion justice

Item was bought for my husband, item was lil over priced for the age of the movie. He liked the movie cause it was all original and nothing was cut out for scenes. Great action movie "classic"
