Walking with Dinosaurs (DVD, 2000)

This is a lenghthly film ,well over 2 hours, filled with details and beautiful computer graphic dinos that look realistic. reccomended for any dino fan. Some scenes are graphic and there is animal violence, but that can be seen between two house cats. This is a five star film end of story.

My five year old granddaughter is totally fascinated with dinosaurs and this film was not only educational and informative, the graphics were exceptional and you would believe it was an actual film of live animals. The presentation was such that it was exciting and you wanted to see what's next. I recieved the best praise from my grandchildren for buying this film, two big hugs and kisses and telling me I'm great.

This is a truly remarkable dvd with the entire tv series and special effects. I sell this in the gift shop at the museaum I work at and I am always impressed by the special effects shown on the dvd as it plays on our tv, set up near the display. Children and adults alike are captivated by this series. I finally had to buy my own copy, but of course, I spend a quarter of what I would have at the gift shop, even with my emplyee discount, when I went through ebay. Come and visit dinotrax.com.

Very informative but after watching I found it a little too "dry" for to hold the attention of my grandchildren I believe. The amount of facts in each 30 minute segment is more suited to an older audience. As an adult who has always been enterested in dinosaurs and such I enjoyed this DVD very much.

This DVD set really stands the test of time, pun intended. We watched it straight through and loved it all.

I owned this dvd years back, and lost it somehow.
I can't easily find it in Canada, and here it was at an exceptional price!!! I loved it so much that I bought another a few days after this order, as a gift for a friend. This DVD walks you through the evolution of dinosaurs. It is interesting enough to watch over and over.
Everything from watching a huge meat eating dino snatched into the sea by a ferocious carnivoire; or a baby sauropod grow up from a hatchling to mating....it's engaging and informative.
I may still buy more for gifts. Super Value and the shipper was awesome!
