Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman (2005, Paperback)

This is the best zombie series out there! I wonder when they will make it into a movie? A tv series would be more appropriate since Kirkman has said that this is an ongoing series with no end in sight (yay!).

Vol 3 finds the survivors of the zombie virus at the gate of a prison. A huge complex that would be a perfect haven - if they can get rid of the zombie guards/prisoners inside. They find not just zombies but actual survivors inside - although they may actually be more dangerous than the zombies outside.

This volume covers issues 13-18 of the single magazine format. The writing is sharp, the artwork is gruesome - what more could you ask for? Highly recommended, but if you are looking at the review for this volume I know I don't have to say much - you already know how great this series is.
