Walk the Line by Original Soundtrack (CD, Nov-2005, Wind-Up Records)

The songs are all terrific as performed by the actors in the movie. I bought it after seeing the movie and really enjoying the music. I'm going to buy a second C.D. as a gift for my parents.

I love the soundtrack. It is strange but my little kids love it as well and Jaukin Phoenix sounds as good as Johhny Cash. My kids sing it all the time and it is a great cd to listen to in the car.
Great purchase if you like the movie. It is exactly like it.

The actors did wonderful portraying Johnny & June. But after growing up listening to the one & only Johnny Cash; nothing can compare in my book! To be honest I like the sound of Reese Witherspoon better than June Carter Cash; she does an amazing job! I recieved this as a gift; but being I like the sound of Johnny Cash better than Joquain Phoenix this cd is not for me. Phoenix misses the depth of emotion that Johnny sung with!

If you liked the sound of the artists on the movie than you will definitely love this cd. One downfall about this cd is that it doesn't include my favorite song that Reese & Joquain did sing & that is Time's A Wastin. Other than that if Resse would come out with her own cd sining most of June Cash's songs I would probably buy it to keep! She does an astonishing great job on Wildwood Flower!

Joaquin is as talented as Cash. I like the movie walk the line because it a true story and I like johnny and june carter cash. I think Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon did a great job and I reccomend it to everyone. There isn"t anything I dislike about this movie.

I bought this because I wanted the soundtrack. I was very pleased when I recieved it because it was just as described. I chose this buyer because of their feedback. I was glad that I did.

well I watched the movie and I liked the way the actors protrayed the music. I love the songs. althought on some tracks it sounds like reeces voice get drowned out but its only like that on it aint me baby.

This cd is GREAT, but they left out the best song that the duo sang: "Times A Wastin" and this song is very hard to find even by the original artist.

This is a great CD. The music sound great and all of the songs buy the Jerry Lee and Elvis songs sound close to the original artists. I wish they would have included all of the songs from the movie.

I really love this CD, I think that Joaquin does an original version of Jonny Cash and I love it! Its fun to listen to the old country tunes and I think that Reese has a great voice too. If you liked the movie and enjoy this type of music this is a must have for any music collection!

I watched the movie of the same title and loved the music.....I wanted the soundtrack, as did my wife, so we could listen to it anytime. I really think that both joaquin phoenix and reese witherspoon truely showed an extra talent they both posess excellently in this soundtrack. It was a super idea to have them perform the songs.

OK, I'll admit it. I am not the world's biggest country music fan. But I like Reese Witherspoon and I think Joaquin Phoenix is cute, so I decided to watch "Walk the Line" , a movie based on the life of Johnny Cash. Boy, was I surprised! Phoenix nailed Johnny Cash's voice, attitude, and soul, and to be honest, Reese's singing absolutely did justice to June Carter Cash's nasally voice. Reese has a fantastic singing voice.

After the movie, I was humming songs from the movie that I hadn't previously known but caught my attention so much that they stuck in my head. So, I decided to but the CD. Never in a million years would I have believed someone if they told me I would be buying a CD of Johnny Cash songs!!! But I did. This CD which features Joaquin and Reese, also features songs by others in the movie such as Waylon Payne, who portrayed Jerry Lee Lewis in the movie, Tyler Hilton who played Elvis, Shooter Jennings who played his dad Waylon Jennings, and Johnathan Rice as Roy Orbison.

I recommend this soundtrack to anyone who loves Johnny Cash, or for people like me who just love catchy tunes. See the movie first! You'll LOVE it! (Ladies, tissue alert!!!) Then listen for yourself!

I love this soundtrack, so much until I bought two cds one for my house and one for my pickup truck. My kids are 9-7 and they love it so much, til they are the first ones to turn it on. The soundtrack really sounds great in my truck with the bass. Get beside another car playing loud rap music, I turn this soundtrack up louder. I recommend this album to everyone and all ages, i'm glad my kids likes this, better than these rap songs. Also recommend buying the dvd, excellent to movie and actors did a very good job.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Walk The Line movie so wanted the CD soundtrack. Also bought one for my daughter. It is a toe tapping group of songs you enjoyed Johnny and June singing over the years. Great addition to my CD collection!

I was writing my new book, Grandma's Wisdom For Business and Life and I would play this as backgroud when I would write. I found it to be upbeat and kept me motivated to work. Great sound and wonderful songs.

I like this cd very much all music heard in the movie is on the cd, not just Cash. I would recommend this cd to anyone who liked the movie.

Great movie, great cd, Joaquin does a great portray of Cash, as well as Reese of June. Highly recommended cd, my fav Cash cds are still Folsom Prison and San Quentin, but the sound quality is great with this cd. Go get yourself a copy of all three if you want to listen to some great Cash songs.

I bought this cd originally as a gift (which she bought herself), so I listened to it myself and I loved it. If you haven't seen the movie that it comes from that also is a must see. the actors are really singing which is impressive.

My item was received in very good condition. I received it shortly after I paid for the item. I was happy with the results. The seller left me a little hand written note inside of package which made me feel like it was on the more personal side. Which is a good thing.

I LOVE this soundtrack, the only thing missing that bums me out was the duet with Reese and Joaquin called "Time's a Wastin". Other then that it had all the good music from the movie.
