Walk, Don't Run by Ventures (The) (CD, Jul-1996, EMI Records USA)

This CD is an excellent document of very influential guitar rock from many decades ok. I feel that t he track selection on this album is the best of any of numerous Ventures compilation CDs out there. These guys deserve so much credit for making so much stylistic music for decades and heck, listen to this CD and you will see how well it does hold up as a timeless & priceless chapter in rock history, with some darn fine playing, too! There is something very charming and magical about their amazing instrumental sound. The CD has some nice liner notes and great sound quality, to boot. uy it, you'll love it if you are a fan of the Ventures or just that nifty 1960s "surf guitar" sound in general. 2nd best CD to buy would be Very Best of the Ventures, but this one is better, though. For lovers of surf or spy guitar, this is a no-brainer and a must have CD!!!
