I wake up screaming : a review
Excellent DVD edition of a underestimated landmark in film noir.
The sotory keeps up a fast pase and the twists keep coming and coming... which was pretty rare at that time where usually the villain was already known by the audience. This mix between a film noir-comedy-whodunit really hits the mark.
The Betty Grable/Victor Mature combo is quite unusual but works better than expected. They seem to have a lotta fun and so is the viewer!
Transfer is adequate for a 60-years old movie
The commentary is not exactly the best in town but gives an interesting point of view redarding the skills of the director and the actors.
