Quite exciting and based on facts - definately worth seeing! "Wake island" is an absolutely outstanding older VHS film (NTSC format) about the early days of WWII after the US had been attacked by Japan. Wake Island was a major battle where a small group of American defenders held out against overwealming odds. The acting is fairly good, but is considered quite dated by today's standards. This is one of the few battles in American history where the participants were authorized a special device to be worn on their war medals - which illustrates the group heroism displayed! Please note that this film is reviewed with no knowledge as to the seller.
