Reviews Have watched this show on PBS for years. Never gets old. Shows people consigned to an "old age home" rebelling, kicking up their heels, and living! Great characters. and you can't help but become endeared to Stephanie's sarcasm and snide comments. If you have yet to see it check it out. it is wonderful Review ID: 10000000003509179 Was this review helpful? Report this review This is an intelligent Britcom set in a retirement home. I had seen it on PBS several years ago and really loved it. BBC America has not seen fit to carry it, to my knowledge. I like the banter much more than traditional Britcoms such as "Keeping Up Appearances," which makes me want to shoot Hyacinth. Waiting for God shows us that you're never to old to put up a good fight for what's right, and the mix of characters, from Tom's slutty alcoholic daughter-in-law to the bombastic Diana are all a hoot! I can't wait to buy the rest of the series. Review ID: 10000000002900534 Was this review helpful? The two main characters entertain themselves and disrupt the home to the audience's amusement. The brits are the experts at screwball comedies. This is a wonderful example. You never can tell what these two wildcats will do next. They are not afraid of difficult subjects. Just because you are old does not mean your are died.
