The final Poor Old Lu album is made up of brilliant alterna/pop songs with a nod to all of their previous styles. It's really hard to compare Poor Old Lu to anybody but themselves but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that every once in a while this one reminds me of The Smashing Pumpkins (Sunlight & Shadows). It's strange, this CD took quite a while to grow on me but now I consider it to be one of their finest albums. You would be hard pressed to find anything else this good on a Christian music label. 5 Stars.

) I've been a HUGE Poor Old Lu fan for years, but never even knew this CD existed until finding it on ebay! So glad they made another album, and it is just as awesome as all their previous recordings. It shows why they were one of the pioneering Christian alternative bands of the 90's. Great music, awesome lyrics, incredible musicianship. I decided to buy it because it was the only studio recording of theirs I didn't own... and it was well worth the wait!!
