WWF - WrestleMania X-Seven (DVD, 2001)

WrestleMania X-Seven, one of the most memorable WrestleManias of all time, features a showdown between two of the most entertaining wrestlers ever to grace the WWF (now WWE). "The Rock" and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin go toe to toe in a no-disqualification match with a surprising twist end! This now rare DVD is a pleasant trip to the past for any nostalgic wrestling fan, and features plenty of content to keep you coming back for more.

DVD works like a charm. The inner DVD disc flap is a little loose, but the DVD is in excellent condition. I'm very glad to have this Wrestlemania DVD in all it's non-revised glory.

This DVD is very valuable in that it was released in 2001. The World Wrestling Federation (WWF), now known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), lost a pivotal lawsuit to the World Wildlife Fund and were ordered by court to stop using the old WWF Attitude logo on any of its properties and to censor all past references to WWF, including footage.

Nowadays, this same DVD is re-released with all the WWF logos censored and any licensed music replaced with generic production music. In other words, a very watered-down version that feels butchered.

I'm very very lucky to have a DVD copy of the best WrestleMania in WWE history, in all it's original pre-WWE glory!

As always, Wrestlemania is great, this is a 2-disc original print dvd, unedited after the World Wrestling Federation vs World Wildlife Foundation fiasco, so there are no blurred portions of the picture. This is the third Wrestlemania to be released on dvd following Wrestlemania XV and then Wrestlemania 2000(XVI). Being released in 2001 it is also one of the first 10 Pay-per-views released on dvd, making it quiet rare for the avid collector.

By far, this was the greatest WrestleMania that the WWE ever put out. It is not only the event that was so well made, but if you were a fan back in 2001, you would remember the build up to the event. Austin/Rock was legendary in this WrestleMania. Everyone's hero, Stone Cold Steve Austin, would make the most unpredictable turn and joining his nemesis.

Contains lots of interesting matches. The Rock v.s Stone Cold, The big show vs Kane vs Raven Hardcore championship match, TLC for the tag team title, The Gimmick Battle Royal with special guest announcers: Mean Gene Okerlund and Bobby "the brain" Hennan, Chyna vs Ivory for the woman's championship, Vince vs. Shane in a street fight, and Undertaker vs Triple H to name a few. The DVD extras are also great. They feature grudge histories and interviews. This DVD is highly recommended
