This was a fantastic game in it's time, Genesis did wrestling right. This game has all the WWF Greats and was one of the first cage match & Rumble games. For a fantastic flashback to the good old days of wrestling this is your ticket!

Best wrestling game of the sega eraOkay, its way better than Wrestlemania Arcade. The grachics are good for its time and it has enterance music!!!!!! It has a good cast of faces and heels. Overall this game is a 8.5 outta 10! It's a good buy. and has an average resale value that that makes this a treasure to have.

ravishin rick rude r.i.p (you know,the guy who val venis tried 2 imitate), shawn michaels, bret hart, crush, PAPA SHANGO! (yes the godfather in his earlier days b4 the nation of domination) the undertaker when he was creepy, hacksaw jim duggan hoooooooooooooooo! lol, lex luger when he went by the narcissist (he even had a mullet), razor ramon (possibly the greasiest wrestler ever lol), and last but not least the IRS man the guy wrestled in suspenders not to mention he had 2 the buffest auditor in history lol),and mister perfect himself kurt henning rip (this guy had the coolest gum slap known 2 mankind lol.o yeah and i how can 4get about hulkamania, the living legend. but 2 be serious how can u turn down a game with a star studded lineup like this,regardless of the age of this game.

When SEGA was a current generation system, I enjoyed playing Royal Rumble with friends of mine that had it. For some reason I never bought the game, until it came to mind recently. It's still just as fun as I remember. There's just no substitute for the simple to pick up and play style of older games like this. Bashing opponents over the head with the metal folding chair is a great feature of this game, especially in tag team match when one of your computer controlled teamates walks over with it. I definitely recommend this game.

After the video game "Wrestlemania" for the 8-bit Nintendo, it would not have taken much to improve the gameplay for a wrestling game. When "Royal Rumble" was released for the Sega Genesis, it was like heaven for wrestling fans around the world. Compared to the almost-realistic wrestling games of today, the graphics are way behind, of course. But, the gameplay is still fun when played ten years later. Released in 1993 by the WWF, "Royal Rumble" was one of the most fun games released by the Sega Genesis at the time. The moves were easy to pick up, unlike many of today's wrestling games....
