WWE WrestleMania XIX (Game Cube, 2003)

This game has some decent graphics, a perfectly fine game play system and a good selection of wrestlers. So why is this game pretty shabby? Well because of the simple fact that there is no story mode or mode to capture the championship belts. Instead, you pick a wrestler, get kicked out of the WWE and what proceeds to follow is a bunch of pointless missions that have absolutely nothing to do with wrestling. You'll have to go through a car garage and fight a bunch of random goons, the ocassional WWE superstar and avoid cars. Or you might be atop a construction site where the WWE is building something and proceed to throw the workers and the ocassional WWE superstar off the top of it. It's stupid, pointless, does not involve actual wrestling and all it does is culminate with you facing McMahon in a very simple match. Had this game offered this as an extra mode of play, rather than the only mode (save the standard exhibition match mode), then maybe something good would have come from this game. Also, I notice that ever since the N64 No Mercy game, the create-a-wrestler mode has become very weak - there are less moves, accessories, looks and outfits to choose from. This game is alright if you just want to set up your own match and maybe play with your friends, but it's really quite poor for a wrestling game. If you're looking for a better play, get the Day of Reckining games which followed this release, as they are a much better play.

i dont like this game, you cant even fight for the belt, or even see the characters come out with the belt. the story is dumb, its not like a wrestling game its like an adventure game. DONT GET THIS GAME!!!! GET DAY OF RECKONING INSTEAD.

great wrestling game. lots of wrestlers. tremendous create a wrestler and it features wrestlers like edge,chris benoit, the rock,steve ausin, and more.

This is another top notch wrestling game. Second only to "Day of Reckoning" in my best wreslting game for the gamecube.

I guess love the areas you can fight in. That's the main thing I love about this game. The areas other than the arenas are SO fun! The roster is cool, & the CAW mode isn't bad by any means. Way better game than Wrestlemania X8. Great Wrestling game here.

I LOVE IT, I DECIDE TO BUY IT BECAUSE I USED TO HAVE THE GAME YEARS AGO. THE GUY THAT I PURCHASE THE GAME FROM WAS REAL PROFESSIONAL. I WILL SURELY BUY SOMETHING FROM HIM IN THE NEAR FURTHER. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS GAME IT PLAYS REAL WELL AND HAS NO SCRATCHES.

My boys tried this at a friends house and loved it.
They decided to buy it after playing it 3-4 times.
Now they have their own and their friend comes to their home.

it is a awesome game that comes with a bunch of features and story line and a great game for kids who love the wwe

Well, this game is pretty good, it has a big roster of great superstars to choose from. Also the Revenge is pretty cool because it's like a whole separate game and it's nice to have a little variety.
