i love wrestling i love thegame

all thesettings are slightly changed from 2007, but you have lots of new move sets, it's fun just learning everything you can do with this game.

i brought this game for my 11 year old son, he wanted it because up until this game he has every wrestling game known to man, so of course he had to have this one , the graphics are very kool and the audio is really kool as well you can do so much on this game and be so many players anyone playing this will not get bore anytime soon it was well worth the money die hard wrestling fans have to have it and new fans to wrestling will become hooked after playing this game , my son gives it a two thumbs up.

This game is going to be well worth your $40+. It has a few new features and the ECW invasion.

Some fans of WWE may not enjoy this due to it having no online capabilities, but other then that, it is a great installment to the WWE franchise. Pick this game up soon. :D

With much of the 24/7 mode content being pulled over from previous versions, and most of the gameplay having been experienced before, WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 doesn’t feel fresh on PlayStation 2 anymore. This was to be expected now that the game is coming to not one, but three next-gen consoles, as well as PSP and Nintendo DS.

On the bright side, the series has yet to die on the current generation. Series veterans will enjoy it – they just won’t find it as satisfying as some of the previous iterations.

The gameplay is still exciting and engaging. You’ll want to play solo or multiplayer matches even if the other modes have lost their lure.

The cheesy voice acting can be somewhat overlooked thanks to a hard-hitting rock soundtrack.

Difficulty: Easy/Medium
Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 isn’t the hardest wrestling game ever made, but its Hall of Fame mode will test your endurance.

Concept: 7.0
The application of fighting styles and their player-specific nature improve the overall package. Unfortunately, that’s the only improvement to speak of – the rest of the game feels like a revised Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007.

Multiplayer: 7.5
There’s still no better way to play Smackdown than with a friend.

Overall: 7.0
A good rental for most and a decent buy for the super-hardcore wrestling fanatic, WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 doesn’t push the series forward. But with the next-gen consoles in full swing, it doesn’t seem like there is much room for the game to grow without jumping ship. Play this one if you love its prequel, and plan moving to PS3 or Xbox 360 for Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009.

I bought this product for my son's 12th birthday.The price in the stores were insane. It was easy shopping from my living room recliner and I could not beat the savings. I love to shop e-bay!

My husband and daughter love this game. The graphics are realistic and the gameplay is fun. Overall they are happy with this game.

I loved that it was sealed... brand new as promised. I decided to buy it because I couldn't pass up the low price for such great product...

My nephew was really wanting this game. It was cheaper to buy it on ebay than an used store. It was in great condition and came in original case. Only took about four days to get it after paying with paypal. The game plays fine but did not have booklet. That was no problem because he knew how to play it.

Pros:
_ Awesome 24/7 game mode.
_ Many legendary wrestlers return in this game.
_ Nice create modes.

Cons:
_ The simulation in 24/7 mode is slow.
_ Some wrestlers are overrated, while some are underrated.

In general if you want to have some fun, it's a great buy.
