WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 (PlayStation 2, 2006)

Good game, just the controls have changed from previous games. SO may take some time to get use to it.

Like the new characters in this game but I alredy brought this game it was cool and new moves perform more damage it a better game then the other wrestling games !

+ New controls for easier grappling.
+ Almost every aspect of TV pro wrestling covered.
+ Slick, realistic visuals.
+ Multiplayer.

Cons
- Graphics could be better.
- Stamina drains too quickly & your player can tend to act sluggish.
- Things feel random & make it hard to pull off specific moves.
- Button masher!!!

Wrestling games always tend to be the same. This one doesn't change the formula. Any fan should be happy though. If you want some fight better wait for the next Def Jam Vendetta. If you want the feel of TV wrestling, you'll be happy.

Wow what can I say. I thank you for fast shipment. My son has been bugging me to buy this game for his birthday. It came right on time. That is all he plays. But I've found that my daughter plays as well. It was in excellent condition as was stated. I thank you again.

After years of improving Smackdown titles from game to game, THQ and Yukes have taken their first step backwards when going into "Smackdown vs. Raw 2007". The game is not bad by any means; it simply isn't as good as the series' past two entries. It does introduce exceptionally interactive environments in and around the ring, and Ultimate Control System that adds a bit more control, and new mechanics in ladder and table matches that can clearly be seen as improvements. The game brags of a new analog control system, which essentially is more different than better. Unfortunately, the unrealistic weight system and sub-par AI actually have gotten worse, as have the duration of the numerous load screens. The graphics and sound also have deteriorated and experience glitches occasionally. Essentially, if you're a hardcore or ladder match junkie, or you absolutely HAVE to play with Finlay, Kennedy, Lashley, or Umaga, then you might as well pick up SvR 2K7. Otherwise, stick to last year's addition.

This game is so alwsome....more real game play action , better moves, just great. I always loved playing wrestling games from, nintendo,saga genis,ps1 ps2,and others...the graphics are just so real life looking..awsome.

at first the game wasnt working but after some days it was perfect i use to play it with people on the line

I loved the new Hot Zones in the game. The ability to Press Slam, PowerBomb ChokeSlam, and Last Call your opponets out of the ring is realy cool. So Is PowerBombing,Suplexing,and ChokeSlamming your opponet through the Announce table is cool also. There is alot to explore about the game that is cool.

That's were it all about ends. The controls are realy hard to learn but if you go to options you can switch the controls to almost what they were from 06. There is a nasty glitch that causes you to loos every match if you have two created wrestlers on the same brand. Don't even try the challenges mode. The game won't register them complete. The GM mode is fun as long as you use the brand wrestlers if you use a created wrestler you might win about 40% of the time.

Over all the game is tolerable .The voice track is pretty much the same as 06. This was a rushed game. I only hope that they do a better job with SmackDown vs Raw 2008.

Seller never claimed his money from my credit card company and funds were held 'pending' for days. My son was very sad. So i ended buying a WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2006.

I never received the product. There was a mix up with shipping and the post office returned it to the seller and the seller never resent it but I paid for it.

Son has thoroughly enjoyed this. He said the graphics are the best yet on a PS2 wrestling game. The action is fun. He recommends it highly.

As a wrestling fan i couldn't wait until Smackdown vs Raw 2007 was to be released. Owning all the wrestling games for every system, this game was a must have for my collection.
I rented Smackdown vs Raw 2007 and must say it is a good game but, it is not worth the high prices being charged. There are a lot of used copies selling for more than $30.00.
So the question is why would anyone buy an expensive game and only play it once?
Smackdown vs Raw 2007 would be a great addition to a collection like mine but, it is not worth the extremely high price.
I am glad i rented it first so, i can now wait until the price comes down to a decent amount before buying it for my collection.

This game was purchased for my 10-year-old son. He is really into the wrestling thing. In is words the game is awesome. I think some of the content is a little old for him and probably should have viewed it before letting him have it but I guess it is how you as a parent feel and how you talk to your children about what they see. He and I have a very open discussion form about everything.

this is a great new title with a very interesting set of story lines. the movement system is better than the previous games. there are some limitations (you can't use 'the great kali' in story mode, no music or commentary during backstage fights, etc) but these can be easily overlooked.

I purchased the item as a Christmas gift. The item was received in a timely fashion and it was greatly appreciated.

I bought the game for my 13 year old son. He loves the game. It is very realistic. He loves the choices of matches and wrestlers. I am very glad I bought the game.

Much improved version over 2006. Gameplay is improved and smoother with new control system.

This year you can take the action out into the crowds and there are several new environmental hotspots (like the announcer table last year).

All new wrestlers for '07: Mr. Kennedy, Boogeyman, etc... with cool new entrances that surpass anything from the 2006 version. Definitely worth the upgrade over 2006 and a strong buy for first timers!

Never received item from seller. Contacted seller several times but never received a reply. I have filed a claim. Hopefully, I will receive a refund regarding this transaction. I have never had a problem with half.com. All my previous transaction have been excellent. Unfortunately, I have experienced my first bad transaction. I would avoid this seller. The new control system is introduced in this game, making a controversial topic: it might be better once the player have mastered it, but before it happen, it cause quite a few difficulties for the old fans of this series. In my opinion it's quite a development - it let to the better development in the SvR 2009.
