I GOT THIS DVD IN ALOT.HAVE THE BEYOND THE MAT VIDEO.NOW IS A SHAME HOW THEY BETRAYED JAKE IN THE DOCUMENTARY.

DON'T GET ME WRONG IT'S GOOD DOC ABOUT MICK FOLEY,TERRY,FUNK,NEW JACK.
BUT AFTER WATCHING THE WWE VERSION.I WAS IMPRESSED.
THEY LET JAKE TALK CANDIDLY LIKE A SHOOT VIDOE IN HIS OWN WORDS.LET HIM JUST ME ROBERTS.

I HIGH RECOMMENDLY THIS DVD TO ANY WRESTLING FAN OR PEOPLE WITH ABUSE PROBLEMS.

got the dvd in the mail really quick and the dvd's in really good shape. the movie plays fine when i watch it and it was a really good story

I bought this item because it was such a good deal. The shipping and handling was very reasonable. This movie was exactly what i hoped and more.

This was a very good biography of Jake The snake Roberts. Thumbs up! I wouldn't recommend it to young fans though because it really describes some graphic experiences this man went through.

This is the complete story of the man behind the snake. When you realize what life was like for Aurillian Smith, known to most as Jake "the Snake" Roberts, growing up as a child, you understand the psychology behind the character is very real.

This set includes Some great Jake matches and so many of his great segments. This is a must for any real fan.

Love the product! Very few people in professional wrestling have had such a rise and fall as Jake "The Snake" Roberts has and I was curious as to how certain aspects of his life made him who he is. Shipping was excellent and I have no complaints! Kudos!

this is a great addition to my collection which will be handed down to my son when he gets older as he is already a wrestling fanatic at age five imagine wht a great collection will mean to him .

Great indepth interviews with one of the greats in wrestling. A bit disturbing at times(don't recommend for kids) and heartbreaking but still very good. Only set back is there should of been more match otherwise great

I was a big fan of Jake Roberts and wanted to learn more about his beginnings in the sport of wrestling.

Even if you're not a fan of Jake Roberts or don't even know who he is, if you're a wrestling fan then this DVD should be in your collection. Jake Roberts was one of the greats of wrestling, for so many reasons. He presented a very unique character, of course bringing out his snake was something different, his interview styles were so different and he invented the DDT manuever we see all too often today. Behind the man, though, there are dark secrets from this man's life. The feature presents a biography of Jake Roberts' life. You'll hear the story straight from the man himself, see some old photographs and film clips, plus get some commentary from other wrestlers/friends/family/coworkers. Jake is a great story teller and his story is definitely one that needs telling. When I watched this and listened to the tragic events Roberts experienced while growing up, I was shocked, but at the same time so entertained. Although his story is graphic and dark - moments of child abuse, drugs and alcohol, it's entertaining watching this child grow into a man; then watch as the man becomes one of the most famous wrestlers in history. The extras include some interviews, a decent selection of matches, some other stories and clips from the segment he had on WWE television. If you enjoyed the LOD DVD, then you'll definitely enjoy this one. If you like hearing biographical information, behind the scenes stories, etc on the wrestlers, then this is a good DVD. If you're just looking for a handful of matches, you'll probably be disappointed. While there are several good matches in the extras, this DVD is mainly the story of Jake Roberts. I stand firm by my claim that all wrestling fans should take the time to sit down and watch this amazing story.

I purchace the video because i am a long time fan of Jake The Snake. I was interseted in the behind the scenes aspect of his life.

The video was very indepth.I is also loaded with great stories and matches from throughout his career. I was very happy.
