WWE - Chris Benoit (DVD, 2004)

This dvd is excellent for any wrestling DVD Collector. With well over 10 matchs, it highlights Chris Benoits time in ECW, WCW and WWE. It also has the full match in which Chris Benoit broke ECW's Sabu's neck and the Owen Hart Tribute match Vs Bret Hart. I highly recommend purchasing this dvd, you won't regret it.

I wish that the WWE would follow this format on all their DVDs. The story of Benoit flows much like the recent releases of Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes and Jake Roberts. The feature presentation starts off with the story of the person behind one of the great technical wrestlers of all time. You'll get to hear Benoit tell you about growing up, going through school and becoming a wrestler and then his life/career in this business. It's great hearing the story told straight from the mouth of Benoit, because he gives you great details and personal comments/feelings that only he can give - and this adds a great deal to his story. The entire career of Benoit is covered here, from his days in Japan to WCW to the WWE. The extras feature tid bits, but mainly matches....also covering his entire career. You'll see matches from Japan, WCW and the WWE, as well as a couple indy events. The match selection is great and any fan of Benoit while find this perfect. If you don't like Benoit and have qualms about getting this or watching it, I will tell you that I don't like him...but this DVD kept me entertained thoroughly. This is one of the best WWE DVDs out there.

i personally like to buy any, and all wwe dvd's pay-per-views and career documentaries like this one, i liked it alot, it was very in depth,and informative about his love of the sport from a young age all yhe way up to him winning the heavy-weight gold...an excellent choice in my book!

Another movie I wanted to add to my WWE films that currently own. I love that I own this. What I didn't like about it was the first time when I went to purchase it I got an email stating that it was not in the availble. So I had to e-mail the seller back and ask for a credit back to my credit card, which they did and I thank you for that! So I had to find another seller, which I did purchase from and got it! Thank you.

I bought this disk for the reason that it is out of print. It showcases this extraordinary athlete at least 2-3yrs before a horrific end. But for a true wrestling fan, it brings back great old memories. I now see a true parallelism between Chris Benoit and "The Dynamite Kid" Tom Billington. Aside from his tragic demise, it is a great buy for a true collector of wrestling memorabilia.

Anything concerning wrestling and of course certain wrestlers, my mom really enjoys, and I try to keep her "wish list" compelete.

I love this DVD it reminds me of the REAL Chris Benoit. Forget the tragedy, forget the CNN reports. Sit down, relax, and enjoy some of the greatest matches and moment in wrestling history!!!

My husband is true Benoit fan, and he always will be. He loves this video. He watched it as soon as he got it. It makes a great addition to his already large Benoit collection.

Due to the tragic end to his life and his family, this DVD pretty much becomes a sort of tribute to his life and career. Benoit was one of the greatest wrestlers who's ever reached the top of the WWE. His matches were art in motion, something only a few can achieve. There's a lot of stuff we as fans don't always see what goes on behind the curtains in wrestling, or nearly any part of the entertainment industry. Chris Benoit will probably never get inducted into the wrestling hall of fame because of how his life ended. This is probably the last packaged collection of his life and career to ever be released. If you can get a copy, do it. You won't regret it. Highly entertaining with some good stuff from his years in Japan, early ECW, WCW and finally WWE. If you collect Canadian wrestling DVDs, you'll need this one. Highly recomended

This DVD offers up a very insightful view of Chris Benoit. Some of the comments made by friends and family are a little unsettling. The match commentaries by Taz almost make you feel as though Chris was know to be unstable. All things aside, this is one of WWE's absolute best DVDs. A must for any wrestling fan!!!

It was a great movie but it is impossible to see it now without thinking about what happened at the end of his life. It is a great history of him and of course WWF makes some great movies I have never seen anything from them that was disappointing. If you can find this DVD out there I recommend watching it.

its the best , best person knowin today, the reson i went to buy this DVD only Because: I love Chris benoit he was the frist person i ever liked in the WWE. The reson of this DVD was to high light his greatest moment during thattime. It is a shame that they are now trying to block him from history , i really miss his high flying moves but what can ya do? Myself trying to get any thing and every thing of his one person that was the greatest wrestler ever.

It is a great movie. I enjoyed watching him on WWE. I had been looking for the DVD for sometime and I finally found it on ebay. The seller was great to deal with and his rating was great.

The Chris Benoit story is an Excellent DVD it was in Mint New Condition!!Super price and Fast shipping!!! It is a MUST for any WWE Chris Benoit Fan. Super action and some of the Greatest matches in Benoit's career, lots of back stage behind the scene footage. Highly recomended!!! Five Stars

I decided to buy this because production has been stopped for this, it is becoming very rare to find now. I have my own opinions on the whole thing but I'm not going into it. Regardless, I think this is a great way to remember Chris Benoit. Several of his great matches on here and how he got his start in professional wrestling.
All in all, it's great for everyone that wants to remember him as one of the greatest technical wrestlers ever.

I wanted it as gift for my father who was a fan of the late wrestler. He throughly in enjoyed the dvd.
