WCW vs. The World (PlayStation, 1997)

I first sihned up on e-bay when my daughters house was broken into while they were on a week-end camping trip. My 5 year old g-grandson had his x-box and all
his games taken { just got it xmas }. He had a hard time understanding why someone took his stuff, {no insurance either}. I started checking around, and even used systems were pretty high, and games were pretty expensive. My 17 yr
old grandson is a avid e-bayer so he suggested I check it out. Well I was able to get him a PS2 system and quite a few games, he asked for a wrestling game and I won it. Since then I have been a e-bay junkie. Love it.

This game was in excellent shape and i received it in no time at all. My son is a big fan of wrestling and he didn't own that game yet and we seen it on ebay and bid on it and won and he is very pleased and the game has no scratches on it at all. The game looks brand new. Thank you so much for your time. I am a pleased custumer!

I Bought it cus I needed a new wrestling game its a good game & Has one of my favorite wrestlers on it but its to Gammey if that makes any sence

For the time this was a good game. I used to own it, sold it, and then bought another copy. The graphics suck royally at points. The grunts and groans are awful. The best thing about this game is how many well known wrestlers you get in one game.

You and I Know about WCW wrestling and the days and nights hours you spent watching it so to get a chance to play as your favorite wrestler is a honor, and so much fun thank you very much ebay and sellers for game and many others I love the game.

The amount of enjoyment you get out of this game solely depends on your knowledge of pro wrestling from 1994-1999 era. Even though the names of the international characters are changed most likely due to liscensing issues, this roster is loaded. Characters like Sabu (David Harley) and Ken Shamrock (Sherlock) are complete with signature moves, taunts, and gestures. This attention to detail for such a large roster is incredible. While the engine for this game is not as fluid as the current WWE series, it is passable, especially if you liked the play of the AKI games from the 1990s. It features a strong, medium, and weak grapple and strike system.
In closing, to truly appreciate such a dated game is to have a familiarity with its source material. If this sounds like you, pick this game up as it may very well be the best WCW wrestling title for the PSone.
