vw beetle & transporter by lindsay porter

last august i purchased a 1975 vw superbeetle convertible on ebay. at first look the car promised immediate pleasure, but, being stored in a horse barn for many years i found out that only the interior and roof were in good condition. then, the weekend it was AAA'ed to my home we had a "hurricane" in n.jersey and a huge limb fell through the lovely canvas top., filled with water and things went downhill from then. well, i bought a roof on ebay, found someone to install it, then took it to a vw import shop to be tuned up, to the "tune" of 1500.00. so far, i should have bought another car, but, now i am down to the body work, which i know absolutely nothing about, well, i know nothing about any of this., but, i started calling people, no one wants to work on a vintage vw., but, one old german guy in my area told me "get this book VW BEETLE & TRANSPORTER" i did and i am well on my way to having a cream puff this summer to tool around in., this book really explains how and why you need to do things and in the proper order., if you are working on a vw beetle or a vw transporter this book is the reference book you need. i would rate lindsay porter EXCELLENT.
thanks for giving me the opportunity to rate this book
