Vultures [PA] by Smile Empty Soul (CD, Oct-2006, Bieler Bros. Records)

I'm not just biased as I know the latest drummer in the band, Jacob; but this group rocks! I'm a little old fashion as I need to hear and understand the words and they deliver that without a problem. Each song is unique in melody and rhythm so you don't get tired of listening to the whole album from beginning to end. Even though I don't see eye to eye with all there political views I commend them for going up against the status quo. You can easily find them on line and read more about how they got where they are today. They went up against their own record label, Walmart, and the war. I don't agree with all their lyrics, but I can be honest and say I like all of their music. When you got it ... you got it and they have talent!
