Vtech i5858 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone

This phone does it all, Caller Id, intercom, speakerphone, personalization and long range distance without noise or static. I bought it because of the low price but got a deal for the state of the art technology. All the features are easy to use, easy to follow instructions and amazing personalization features. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone that fears the complications of technology but wants the conveniences!

Phone operates as described. Sleek styling and too many functions to list.
I like the downloadable ring tones and wallpapers for the handset. The only option that this phone doesn't have, that I wished it had, is the talking caller ID function which I find very useful on other phones that I have owned.

This is the telephone I have always wanted. It's stylish, has a wide variety of the latest technology features, great value for the price, etc. And, concerning a wireless network inhibiting the handset communicating with base, that's far from being truth. I do have a wireless network at home and this telephone works perfectly.

Great system, top of the line technology, on drawback, volume is not quiet enough for the hearing impaired.

This is a great phone. It sounds really clear and the range is great. My friend gave me one of these and it was broken from normal use. I was searching for a replacement handset and found one cheap enough that I couldn't pass it up.

I purchase an item# 360090436937. When I received the item, it didn’t work at all and top of that, the cordless phone had many scratches and looked so dirty and prited letters were faded. On the seller’s auction page it has clearly said “This item is factory refurbished in box and packaging, includes all accessories” but I got the item with few missing accessories in a bubble bag. I got so upset and I ended up leaving a negative feedback against the seller. Then I contacted seller (David). He told me that he would make me happy if I withdraw my negative comment. Then I left a positive follow-up feed back on him. Then, he sent me a replacement item which was better than the previous one in an original box but it was used. He didn’t mention that the item is used on the auction page. When I received a first one, I didn’t get all the accessories but I did get all on the second one. As soon as pluged in, I saw 40 missed calls and some features were locked with password. However I decided to keep it.

Now the seller is asking me to send the item back. I agreed on that. I asked him for a call tag or his UPS shipper number. He denied and said that I’ll have to mail on my expense. On our initial conversation, he agreed to send me a call tag, later he denied. He threated me that if I didn't return the item on my own expense, he would report me to Ebay.

The phone handset does not working with the new battery. .The phone look like someone use and broken. No body check before sell on E-bay

I have been using this phone for the past couple of weeks. The ring tones pre-set into the phone are great, not to mention the ones that you can add yourself. this phone is like having a cell phone but for your house. No more yelling accross the house with this intercom feture.

I highly recomend this phone if you are looking for a cordless.

I use a wireless internet and this phone will NOT CONNECT with the base for anything!! If you have a wireless modem it will not work!! Use Caution!!
