Vtech i5803 Cordless Expansion Handset

I already owned the based unit and one handset. I decided to add extension phones and expand my system. This system can expand to 8 telephones. They work really well. The extension phones do not require a phone outlet, just an electrical outlet. It is easy to program. The sound quality is wonderful and the intercom between telephones works really well. I will continue to add to my system.

I like it's user freindly operation,the AA batteries,it's fit in my hands and it's overall performance. The range is excellent and my wife and kids like it too so we'll keep expanding the # of handsets to cover our many uses for this phone system. It's feature rich,caller ID,2 way mode,custom features. Very good product I am impressed.Try one you'll like it V-tech quality.

I aready had the base unit for this. A great unit that fits in with my existing equipement. That does it.

I have owned the i5803 for years, this is my fourth expansion handset. The system is of great quality, in reference to appearance and sound. This system I think was introduced in 2004, was when I first purchased the base unit, and the style still stands up to the models designed this year. After continued use, the numbers and letters on the keypad starts to fade, but overall I have been completely satisfied. I have been a Vtech customer for years, and will continue to be as long as they produce quality products.

I love because it have 8 handsets. I dislike the batteries and caller id.
It doesn't show caller id. sometimes it does some handsets it doesnt. I disklike the phone doesn't have call pads. what I don't like about this phone is that if each handset screw up or not working. you can not buy another handset and set up that handset. vtech said once u setup the handset # and if the phone not working. u end up only have 7 handset. u can not buy another one to replace that and I think that is not right.

I have the 2 phone set and I needed an extra handset so I decided to buy another handset instead of buying a 3 phone set.

We have had this vtech phone for about five (5) years and just recently have to replace the handset. The phone is a great purchase it has a very clear signal and the handset allows you to really personalize the ringers. I would recommend this phone to anyone in need of a good phone.
