Industry Reviews Gr 1-6 Press begins with a two-page introduction, a page of safety measures, and a listing of materials that can be recycled into crafts. The projects themselves are organized under general headings such as "To the Rescue" (making an ambulance, fire engine, etc.) and "In the Water" (a sailboat, a Viking ship). Wheel symbols indicate the degree of difficulty for each craft. Black-and-white cartoon illustrations accompany the step-by-step directions. Most projects also contain either a quote, a short fact, or a heading called "Now Try This," which lists other activities related to the specific project. Jam-packed with ideas, this book will be enjoyed by both craft and transportation enthusiasts. Rachel Fox, Port Washington Public Library, NY Lopate
