If you like Sci-Fi and Hogan you will like this book. Set in the future on a planet orbiting Alpha Centauri. An old colonization ship crashed on the planet killing most but children and the robots sent to protect and teach them. Earth never mounted a rescue because of a war, but now the war is long over and they send a ship of colonists to take control and set the colony back on the original track. Too bad the colonists don't see things quite like that.
