Vizio VO42L 42 in. LCD TV

This is a great TV at a Great Price. Even though I do not personally own this TV, I do sell it on a regular basis. If your looking for a new 1080p TV without 120hz and don't want to spend money on a sharp or sony TV, Then this is the TV for you. The picture quality on it is great at all resoultions (480,720i,720p,1080i,1080P). Menu is very easy to read and navigate. TV also is cosmetically appealing. The only drawback I have seen to date is the remote control, Button layout is not the best. The TV does have pretty good sound out of it and does have 4 hdmi as well.

I broke my last T.V. and looked at all the stores around here. So I went on E-Bay and there it was just in time and perfect. I have nothing bad to say about this item everything was perfect. Great communication and very satisfied. Thank you.

The Vizio I got was a Refurbished model. The problem was that the screen turned Green. After researching online, I realized that this was a known issue that affected even customers with brand new TVs.
I was disappointed that a company like Vizio didn't have better quality control over their product with known issues.
If you are lucky enough to get a unit that works, the quality is great.
Make sure you have a good warranty and return policy.

I like how the picture is sooo glear and it is very lightweight so you can carry it anywhere in the house to install it.
I deciede to buy it after researching Vizio and learning about how good a deal refurbished products can be.

I Love my vizio hdtv. Wanted to upgrade because of feedback from other hdtv owners. Also saw and heard movie sound and saw picture quality of blu-ray players and you have to have a hdtv!! 42" is perfect size and everything is awesome on the vizio. Initially was looking at toshiba and phillips brands. A good friend had a vizio and told me to check it out!! I am glad I did,because I got it cheaper than expected and the all around performance so far is excellent!! I have and will recommend the vizio to friends ! To those looking to buy an hdtv,check out the vizio line!!

I purchased this model because Vizio has a reputation for manufacturing good quality televisions at a good price. Also because "Consumer Reports" recommended it. Mine was "Factory Recertified." It arrived well packaged and looked like new. However after a few days the screen turned partially lime green.

I contacted Vizio for repairs. They had what I would consider an odd request. I was asked to take an actual picture of the screen and Email or fax it to them. Along with the proof of purchase. Luckily I had a good quality digital camera and scanner so sending the picture and proof of purchase was no problem.

For anyone who may have a problem similar to mine I have two bits of advice. First when taking the picture of the screen freeze it first. Using the "Freeze" function on your remote. Also fax the picture and proof of purchase to Vizio. They seemed to have trouble receiving my Emails. Even though they were not returned to me as "undeliverable." I ended up faxing.

That said the television was repaired "In home" and in good time. It now plays great. The picture itself is as good as any other LCD television I have seen. The sound is also very good.

I would recommend a Vizio television to anyone. They are a good buy for the money and in my experience they stand behind their products and honor their warranty.
