This is a replacement slide projector for us. Our Sawyer model (circa 1969?) starting smoking and all of my childhood pictures are on slides. We needed a projector that would work with the side-loading rotary type reels (not Kodak). I was tickled to death to be able to find a machine around that would work. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, but projects clearly and brightly. The only drawback - no fan to cool down before turning the machine off. I hope that doesn't mean many blown bulbs in our future.
