As a long-time fan of Loreena McKennitt music, I was moved to purchase the CD "THE VISIT' , as it contained her musical version of 'The Lady Of Shalott'.
However, I was very disappointed with the application that was used to combine the lyrics with the music. It seemed to lack the quality of spirit that I so much enjoy in Ms. McKinnitt's other music. Many of the songs words were not understandable as the music and lyric combinations would 'jump' from highs to lows, audibles to almost whispers, in an almost 'hurried' fashion. The impression is that there was very little attention paid to the creation of this particular album. I certainly expected a much better composition from such a gifted professional.

I love McKennets voice. I go to sleep listening to her.

What a great ballid mix of songs
) Loreena Mc Kkennitt has a beauitiful voice. The song The Lady of Shalott has got to be one of the breatest ballids I have ever heard.

The Visit CD - Loreena McKennittThis CD is great, the singing & her playing the harp & piano is also great! I hadn't hear of her until the PBS show at the Alhambra last month. After I saw that I wanted to get all her CD's. I have 5 of them now & bidding on more. I haven't been dissappointed in any so far.
